Being Neurodiverse

This isn’t a tidy success story. It’s a living process.

Autism, ADHD, mental health - these aren’t just diagnoses in our family. They’re part of how we see the world, how we connect, how we grow. And as we continue to learn and adapt, we hope our story might help others feel a little less alone

But we’ve found ways to give each other space. We’ve learned to speak up when we need closeness or reassurance. It’s a balancing act - especially for my husband, the only neurotypical person in a house that runs on different rhythms. His needs matter just as much, and we’re learning how to meet them too.

Our journey through autism, ADHD, and mental health isn’t finished. It never will be. But with honesty, openness, and a little trial and error, we’re figuring it out - together.
